This tool is designed to help high school seniors think through the coming realities of life after youth group. It guides a student in finding their next place of Christian community after they graduate. This tool is best used over a period of months leading up to graduation (ideally January through May). It was designed to work in conjunction with the Life After Youth Group video series below. It is a Word document so that you can manipulate it to your group or personality. Life After Youth Group Video Series
Every high school senior will leave their Youth Group, but how well are we helping them find their next place in God's Kingdom? This four-part free online video series allows you to lead the discussions and help your seniors get ready spiritually for life after youth group. The videos use a start/stop format where one concept is explained for a couple of minutes, then you pause the video and lead the discussions with your students. Each video includes a Leader's Guide and student notes (when applicable). For a complete overview of how to use this series, download the Life After Youth Group Series Overview. Video 1 - Your Last Semester (11:25)
Objective: This video raise your your students’ awareness that they will be leaving your youth group soon and how their upcoming transition has some serious challenges. They will be encouraged to develop a personal “exit strategy” for life after youth group.
