        College life
is pretty tough without other Christians.

        Become a Grad Guide and
        help your seniors navigate
        life after high school.

        THE GRAD GUIDE
        VISION

In a relay race the most important part is the transition – when the baton moves from one runner’s hand to the next.  At Grad Guides, we want every Christian graduate to continue on with Jesus by making a smooth transition from their present Christian community to their next Christian community after high school.

        THE GRAD GUIDE
        PLAN

To fulfill this vision seniors will need more than a slap on the back and the admonition to “plug in somewhere.” They'll need a series of conversations about life after high school. Real life change takes place through the relationship a senior has with a caring adult. You can be that life-changing person God uses.

        THE GRAD GUIDE
        COMMITMEMT

        Picture
You don't have to be perfect - just an honest and dependent follower of Jesus. But you will need to initiate and listen, which will have a huge influence on your senior's successful spiritual transition.  If you can manage a calendar and know how to keep a conversation going while sneaking sips of a beverage, then you have the skills necessary to be a Grad Guide.

Will you commit to the following statement?

I will view my student’s senior year not as the end of high school, but as the beginning of a major life transition, and will prepare them for the specific challenges they will face in their next environment - college, work or military – by helping them:
        • identify the specific faith challenges associated with their next environment.
        • discover areas of weakness in their faith that this new environment will test.
        • develop or strengthen their Biblical convictions in those areas of weakness.
        • understand that aside from God, their greatest need is for God’s people.
        • discern what fellowship opportunities exist in their next environment.
